Honey for the face

Home-made face masks are an excellent remedy for removing annoying acne. They include a variety of ingredients that nourish the skin and reduce excess sebum.
We use honey for the three masks we will introduce to you in this article.

Honey possesses antiseptic and antibacterial properties that help reduce redness and inflammation of the skin. It is best to use organic, not processed honey because the latter can irritate the skin. Ingredients such as cinnamon, apple vinegar, green tea, turmeric, and milk can also help reduce the scars and scars on the face.

• Cinnamon has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory characteristics similar to honey.
• Alpha hydroxyl acids (AHA) in apple vinegar unblock skin pores and dissolve dead skin cells. Also, apple cider vinegar treats the buds, restores the natural pH of the skin, and minimizes the enlarged pores.
• Green tea is packed with antioxidants that attack harmful free radicals and help maintain a light, flawless complexion. Also, this magic tea has anti-inflammatory properties.
• Curcuma is suitable for treating skin problems because of its antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties. It also helps to fade stains and acne scars.
• Raw milk contains lactic acid that exfoliates gently and provides protection against wrinkles.

Here are the prescriptions of three simple face masks for acne. Make sure you have removed the makeup well before applying it to penetrate deeper into the skin.

Mask with Green Tea, Honey, and Apple Vinegar
What You Need:
• Green Tea
• Honey
• Sugar
• Apple Vinegar
1. Put a teaspoon of apple vinegar in the bowl
2. Add two teaspoons of chilled green tea
3. Add five tablespoons of honey
4. Mix the mixture well and add more sugar for higher density. Apply the mask to your face with a cotton swab and massage for a few minutes to eliminate dead cells and improve blood circulation. Sugar acts as a natural scrub and releases the pores. Leave for about 10 minutes to work and rinse thoroughly. Use once or twice a week.

Cinnamon and honey mask
What you need:
• Cinnamon powder
• Honey
1. Put a teaspoon of cinnamon powder in the bowl
2. Add two tablespoons of honey
3. Mix the mixture.
If thick, add some more honey
Apply the mask to slightly moist skin and let it work for about 10-15 minutes.
Rinse with lukewarm water and apply toner. If you do not have one, use lemon juice or a mixture of one part apple vinegar and two parts distilled water. Use mask almost daily.

Mask with turmeric, milk, and honey
What you need:
• Turmeric powder
• Honey
• Raw milk
1. Put one teaspoon of turmeric powder in the bowl
2. Add a teaspoon of honey
3. Add more 1-2 tablespoons of milk
4. Mix the ingredients until a smooth mixture
Apply the mask on the face and neck using a make-up brush. If a yellowish tinge of the face remains, clean with milk. Use the face mask every three days.
