One of my favourite cookies of all time are the Oreo cookies. Whether it’s a smoothie, a cake or a smoothie breakfast, I love using them in my recipes, you can’t do anything wrong with Oreo.

So, we have a wonderful treat for you today, a Mint Oreo Truffles, and a couple of tips on how to make them. You are welcome if you have never had Oreo Truffles before. They are very simple, delicious and addictive. It is also possible to truly customize OREO Cookie Truffles. With your favorite OREO flavor, you can add all sorts of distinct toppings.

  • 1 package of Mint OREO Cookies (crushed)
  • 1 brick of softened cream cheese
  • 2 cups of mint green & semi-sweet chocolate chips


First, the oreo cookies must be crushed. You can either use a blander or food processor, or just seal the cookies in a plastic bag and crush them with a meat mallet. Then add the cream cheese and blend until well mixed.

Use a scoop cookie and roll each scoop into a ball, then put the balls on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper. Before dipping, freeze the balls for 30 minutes. This step is essential, the balls of cookies must be completely chilled, otherwise you will end up in your melting chocolate with a lot of crumbs.

Then melt in the microwave for 1-2 minutes the mint green chocolate chips and stir softly until smooth. If necessary, return the chocolate for further melting to the microwave for 15 seconds.

Dip each ball in the chocolate and place it back on the lined pan. Add your favorite sprinkles and put them in the refrigerator. Enjoy!
